Travel Experts Kuoni to open first ‘Evolution’ store at Gateshead’s intu Metrocentre

Kuoni, the worldwide travel experts, will open a new store in Europe’s largest covered shopping centre, intu Metrocentre, Gateshead this September.
 

The new shop will be designed to inspire ideas for holidays around the world from the Maldives to Sri Lanka and Italy to Brazil and will be on the first floor of the new Platinum Mall.    A team of six well-travelled personal travel experts will be in place to plan itineraries.
 

Helen Roberts, head of direct sales for Kuoni, said: “Newcastle and surrounding areas have been high on our wish list for some time.  We have been working really closely with Gosforth based Travel Bureau which we have had as a Kuoni Partner Store for three years, so we know demand for tailor-made worldwide travel is high in this area.  
 

The location at the intu Metrocentre, which was the original mega mall, is perfect for us and we will be bringing some exciting new design ideas for anyone planning a worldwide trip, whether it’s an adventurous honeymoon or well-earned break on a stunning beach.”

Kuoni has announced its imminent arrival by placing shop front hoarding in front of the new store, with destination visuals and a message to say ‘The experts are coming’.   This reflects the company’s vision and values, crafting unique and personalised travel experiences across the globe and providing expert and friendly advice from start to finish.
