#OrganicBeauty

Date: 06 Sep 2013 - 08 Sep 2013

The Soil Association’s Organic Beauty Weekend aims to increase awareness across Britain of organic health and beauty products and their benefits.

According to LUSH Ethical Buyer Agnes Gendry-Henry, “The importance of organic is that it preserves the environment and avoids soil depletion. It's also healthier for the people who grow the materials as they are not exposed to chemicals in the growing process.  Even though we use few products registered by the Soil Association we constantly strive to replace our conventionally grown raw materials with organically grown alternatives where possible.”

THERAPY massage bar (£6.50) … 100% organic ingredients

Certified by The Soil Association, Therapy solid massage bar was created to calm the nerves and uplift your spirits and with 100% organic ingredients your conscience will thank you too. Organic oils such as lavender, neroli and sweet orange oil work to relax and revive the mind while nourishing butters deeply moisturise the skin.

Therapy is made with organic and fair trade certified cocoa butter from the beans of a Peace Community Lush has supported in Northern Colombia since 2011.

ATOMIC toothy tabs (£2.50 for 40 tabs) … with organic coffee and spices

Revolutionary solid toothpaste, Toothy Tabs are not only incredibly effective but also offer an alternative to the plastic and aluminum tubes normally associated with traditional toothpaste that go straight to landfill.

Using organic coffee, cardamom, cinnamon and white pepper powder, Atomic Toothy Tabs give an antibacterial and antiseptic whole mouth cleanse.
